I'm never without a tub of the good stuff because it really can be used for all sorts - spread on toast, put in the centre of pastries or simply eaten straight from the tub with a spoon (or finger) while sprawled on the sofa in your pants! Nutella and cheese is a match made in heaven ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm passionate about my love for grilled cheese. I'm also passionate about my general disdain for nutella and anything nutella flavoured. Yet somehow, this sandwich was my favourite dish of the day. Sweet and salty came together perfectly in one gooey mess, bookended by uniformly buttered toast and a dash of powdered sugar. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Saying this was my favourite is nothing small considering this little stall churns out some of my absolute childhold favourites. The owners, Anuja and Abhi, drew inspiration from the Maggi stalls of Bombay and opened up this cozy nook at @world_foodmarket. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We tried their "hakka" and "tadka" versions of Maggi, the instant noodle packets that dominated my after-school meals for a long time. We also tried the classic Bombay and pineapple + cheese sandwiches! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While not everyone will taste the nostalgia, I highly recommend you go experience the deliciousness that is Thindi. I’ve always wanted to use Nutella in cupcakes and I finally have and let me tell y’all this is the best thing ever!
